Clubhouse opening 29 sept 1991

Our club house was opend in Sept 1991, having been built by Richard Cosier and club members. At the time our president had strong ties with the Barbarians and arranged a side to play Wheatley 1st xv. Players included ex England full back Dusty Hare and Neil Edwards who was playing for Scotland and Harliquinns. There were also a number of Premiership players in the side. Wheatley aquited themselves well and Garry Davis even scored a Try! The score was 35 to 5 think. I have a programme from the game at home that I can bring up tomorrow that lists all the players.
