Wheatley put together a mature performance to bring home a five point win against BBO premier rivals Bletchley, Wheatley set the tone early with great pace and endeavour to race to a 20 - 5 point lead with toys from Alex Gabbidon, Aaron Ward, Jordan Hook with Aaron Lama adding a penalty and conversion.
Further converted tries from Jack Taylor and Aaron Laman extended the lead to 34 -5 in the second half with Bletchley fighting back at the death and coming close to a losing bonus point with 2 tries of their own and the game finishing 34-15.
The game finished on a low point with the Bletchley second row receiving a red card for throwing a punch at the final whistle.
