Wheatley come into the weekend off of the back of a great win against Milton Keynes but such has been the case for much of the season the purple men with injuries playing its part in this weeks team selection,
Sean Brook, Oil Kenworthy, James Neal and Dan Rule are all side lined this week after picking up knocks in last weeks match, but with more players coming into contention this week Wheatley are still able to select from depth and utilise player flexibility to field a strong 18.
Alex Acklam gets back into the stride at 1 having over come his hand injury is some way back to his best, Pete Mitchell comes off the back of some great loose play last week to retain the 2 shirt Ezra Rees completes the front row with versatile Jack Smith moving into the second row, Caillin Taylor returns to blindside with Dan Bland coming in at 7 and Simon Chadbone fills in at 8.
Jack Taylor retains the 9 shirt withe Aaron Laman returning to 10, Tom Heydon returns to his old club at 12 with Hugo and his cauliflower ear coming in at 13, Luke Ball and Chris Turner take the wings with Jordan Hook at full back.
Wheatley will look to Rob Tomlin, Conner Cuffe and Jack Harpur to finish out the game in whats sure to be a hard fought battle.
