Dave Thomas scored the first of Wheatley's six tries
Wheatley extended their unbeaten streak against Bicester/Quins with victory under lights at Oxford Rugby Club in a superb Floodlit cup clash .
The Purplemen led 15-14 at half-time with unconverted tries from Rich Grimsdel, on his full debut, Andrew Chadbone playing in the unfamiliar outside centre position and Dave Thomas.
Bicester/Quins replied with scores from Ian Phillips and Tim Knap before the interval, but never looked like they could take the lead with Wheatley playing with pace.
But Wheatley hit back with tries from Simon Chadbone , and a second half brace from Rich Grimsdel sealing his hat trick late on with Pete Evans adding a conversion.
Victory maintained the Wheatley ' unbeaten start to the tournament as they racked up their fifth win in a row overall under Ramsdales guidance.

It was a great defensive effort from the boys, a real gutsy win
