Wheatley Vets first outing of the season saw them fall short of victory against Hungerford.

Wheatley put together a fine directed first half which they largely dominated, the second half caught up with Wheatley and the lack of game time began to tell, Wheatley were denied a try and had to contend with some alternative law interpretation but had a thoroughly enjoyable evening none the less
