Wheatley came out of the blocks with real intent, recycling quick ball for Jason Laman to Marshall his forwards and dictate play, it was only a matter of six minutes before Laman was able to put tighthead prop Simon Chadbone into space an see him crash over the line.
Wheatley kept the tempo high and more try's followed with Dan Rule rounding the entire kings back line to score in the corner.
Laman from quick ruck ball then fashioned an opening for himself with an outrageous dummy which seemed to send the entire opposition in the wrong direction allowing him to sythe through under the posts,
With more probing runs from Ben the number 8 and Second row nick Bantom and with a back row recycling quick ball Wheatley were becoming more dominant in the oppositions 22 Chadbone was apparently held up over the line, the resulting scrum sore Wheatleys front five really come to the fore turning over the ball and with quick thinking Ben Kelsey powering over from close range
More try's followed from nick Bantom showing a clean pair of heels to the pursuing clear front row! And dan rule side stepping his way to the line.
The second half saw kings clear dig in and put Wheatley under pressure which saw the ball being spilt and the kingsclere 10 take advantage an score in the corner.
Wheatley instantly hit back with Ben Kelsey capitalise on a bullocking run from Ben which saw a neat offload and quick hands putting the ball down in the corner.
Wheatley upped the pressure winning everything in the line out and scrummage and rolling mauls deep into the kings clear 22 mike lasko and James pollard both crashing over with Laman converting
More strong running from inside Center Lewis maylin saw a scrummage set about 15meters out Wheatley turned the ball over and Chadbone now playing 8 managed to control the ball well setting up for Banton to score
The game was played in good spirt and watched by a good crowd some of Wheatleys defensive play was tremendous.
