Wheatley vs Didcot
For the second time this season Wheatley face off against Didcot in the BBO Prem looking to emulate this seasons previous encounter and do the double over Didcot.
After a eggstensive weeks training the purple men are ready for the trip south down the A34 to Didcot's new home at Boundary Park. previous results lean toward Wheatley having won 3 of the last 5 but never has there been more that 8 points in it.
Despite a couple of notable absentees Wheatley remain pretty consistent in their selection with skipper Alex Acklam, Pete Mitchell and Ezra Rees the arrow head of the Wheatley scrum Jack Atkinson makes a return to the boiler room after recovering from a dead leg Dan Bland retains the 6 shirt in at 7 Spencer Bailey after impressing for the 2nd team comes in for Caillin Taylor who is away Skiing, James Neal at 8,
Jack Taylor will be providing the ammunition for the backline with Aaron Laman pulling the strings at 10, a well rested Toby Butler adds volume to the backs and will be partnered in the centre by Joe Hobdell. Dan Rule hopes to add to last weeks try tally given the opportunity and the matriarch makes his first start of the year on the opposite wing with our very own Mr Fix it Joe Taylor also on the piste. Jordan Hook fresh off the back of his performance of the season will add his spaghetti frame to proceedings!
This weeks impact comes from Alex Gabbidon, excited at the prospect of 100 Jaffa Cakes for £3:50 at Tesco Tam back from his period of quiet reflection and Graeme Crapper making a long awaited debut.
