Starting with the first XV, having had an indifferent month the 1st team finally hit their stride in the rain at Bletchley with a convincing 22- 0 win. Jordan Hook has been a constant force throughout the month combining up with a couple of tries and terrifying opposition defences with his open field running.

Both Dan Bland and Spencer Bailey have also performed well giving us all a reminder of what we were used to seeing week in week out last season.

Dan has provided the line out with a competitive edge and adds a level of urgency throughout the forward pack and gives great energy to the changing rooms and the bar!

Spencer returning from injury adds a cutting edge in defence chopping down all comers irrespective of size! always a threat over the ball and gives his all.

The Outlaws continue their impressive season having lost just once this season and as a result sit proud at the the top of the table at the halfway point.

Jeremy Tanner is in his first season with Wheatley and has settled in well demonstrating he is willing to play for the team and filling in where needed, currently filling the boots of Russell Neal at 10 and putting his no kicking stamp on proceedings, Tom Heydon also a recent addition to Wheatley has come in a made an immediate impact, the big ball carrying centre has added his rugby league foundation to the union code and provides the backline with a goto option knowing he will make the gain line. Guy Williams also adds a level of constancy to the Outlaws back line a constant threat to the opposition giving additional fire power to the potent attack.
